Newcastle Bangladeshi Association Multicultural Centre

Following extensive consultation with more than 300 members of the Bangladeshi community, Grace Choi Architecture carried out an in depth analysis of context, brief development and the study of the existing building. Options for refurbishment of the existing building and an alternative new build were developed. Unanimous agreement was reached to conclude that the new build option would suit the growing requirements of the community better, create a new heart to a run down area of Newcastle and was the most cost effective solution.
